Here are Julia Kostenchenko's words: «With pride and confidence, I can say that despite all the barriers of today, we managed to conduct UEFA Playmakers training for our girls, which unite the world of football with the magical Disney world. Thanking ZSU, we were able to train and complete this cycle of lessons. And we saw the happy eyes and joy of children, their sincere minds — all this once again confirmed that we are moving in the right direction. Next...»

One of the parents shared their impressions: «Right now, our child needs support both in physical health and psychological well-being. We are very grateful to trainers Julia and Denis, who give girls a positive mood and teach sports skills, especially football, as girls also love football, and with the UEFA Playmakers program, training becomes even more vivid. Girls immerse themselves in the magical Disney world and play different heroes of cartoons. Thank you, Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) and UEFA for your support, they also provided us with sports equipment, which is very bright and interesting, it can be played both as a team and individually.»

Goals of the UEFA Playmakers program implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

  • to familiarize girls with football, creating an environment focused on fun, friends, and football;
  • to introduce a new individualized coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by Disney stories and characters) as a tool for training and acquiring game skills in football;
  • to develop life skills for girls, basic movement skills, and teach the fundamentals of football to foster lifelong love for the sport.
