In the first match, Dmitro Mykhaylenko's wards defeated their Albanian counterparts (3:0). Today, they faced Montenegro U-19 in the Albanian village of Rrogaj.

The Ukrainians started strongly and were already ahead on the scoreline by the 13th minute. Our team received a free-kick near the opponents' penalty area, and Bohdan Redushko scored with a direct shot past the goalkeeper. Two minutes later, the same Redushko tested the strength of Montenegro's goal.

On the 27th minute, Bohdan Popov received a pass on the edge of the opponents' penalty area and powerfully struck the ball in one touch, doubling Ukraine's lead. Nine minutes later, Oleksandr Kamensky made an excellent solo run and scored past Dzurovic.

After halftime, Ukrainians eased up on Montenegro's goal and had only one good chance to increase their advantage. On the 75th minute, Yaroslav Boyko shot just wide of the post. Thus, 3:0 — victory for Ukraine that secured them a place in the spring round.

The next match will be against Slovakia on November 18 (kick-off at 15:00 Kyiv time).
