Today, September 23, the Ukraine U-16 youth team (players born in 2010 or later) conducted a friendly match against the "Metalist 1925" U-17 team during their training camp.

The gathering of blue and yellow takes place in Kyiv at NTK named after V. Bannikov. It began on September 22 and will continue until the 27th. During this period, the team is scheduled to play two friendlies, with the first being against Kharkiv.

The opening minutes of the match were dominated by Vladimir Samborsky's wards. The score was opened in the 16th minute: Ostrovsky, from his half of the field, passed a precise diagonal to Dzurynetz in the penalty area. Oleg managed to get into the corner and delivered an accurate shot - 1:0.

During halftime, the blue and yellow coaching staff made ten substitutions immediately, but the advantage remained with the national team. On the 52nd minute, Donik earned a dangerous free kick near the penalty area from the left side. Kravchuk took the responsibility to execute it - and delivered a brilliant shot into the far upper corner beyond the goalkeeper's reach.

And the final score was set by Grebelnik just one minute before the end of regular time - he was assisted by Boyko. 3:0 - a clear victory for Vladimir Samborsky's wards.

The second friendly match will be played on September 27 against "Kolos" U-19. The game starts at 11:00 AM.
