Today, September 23, the Ukraine U-16 youth team (players born in or after 2010) will play a friendly match against "Metalist 1925" U-17 as part of their training camp.

Our team's training camp, which is taking place in Kyiv at the V. Bannikov National Training Center, began on September 22 and will run until September 27. During this period, the Ukraine U-16 team will play two friendly matches.

The head coach of the blue-and-yellow team, Volodymyr Samborskyi, has called up 23 players for the camp.

"This is the first time the team has gathered since December last year when they participated in an international tournament with almost no training process. Now I would describe our work as more educational and selection-oriented. This is the youngest national team of Ukraine, so we need to keep a close eye on things constantly," said Volodymyr Samborskyi the day before.
