We remind you that Yuri Klymenko's wards secured second place in Group B at the group stage, defeating Italy (4:2) and losing to Spain (2:4). This result guaranteed our girls a spot in the semifinals of the tournament, where their opponent was Portugal. 

The first period of today's match ended in a tie. On the 10th minute, Yuliia Kostyuk scored for us, but Marta Simoensh quickly responded with a goal for the Portuguese.

In the second quarter, our opponents took the lead. Inna (Inês) scored on the 18th minute. She also sealed the final score in the third period.

Thus, 1:3 — a loss for Ukraine's team, and now they will compete for third place against Poland (match start at 13:45), who lost to Spain in their semifinal — 0:2.
