After the victory of Mykola Kostyenko's wards over Switzerland (5:4), a loss to Spain (4:5), and a win against Denmark (6:6, on penalties 6:5) in the group stage, they secured second place in Group B. This ensured our boys' participation in the semifinals of the tournament, where their opponent was the Italian team.

In the first period, despite the Italians' dominance, a scoreless tie was recorded; however, several times we were saved by the goal frame and Poslavsky. In the second 12-minute segment, unfortunately, the hosts scored twice thanks to Sassari and Josep. And in the final period, this same duo completed their doubles, which the blue-and-yellow responded to with a goal from Maximets. Therefore, 4:1 — victory for the Italian team, who advanced to the EuroLeague-2025 final, where they will compete for the title against Spain.
