The time has been set for the home matches of Ukraine's women's national team in the first and second qualifying rounds for the 2027 World Cup in UEFA zone — against England and Spain.

The time for the home matches of Ukraine's women's national team in the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds for the 2027 World Cup in UEFA zone has been determined — against England and Spain teams.

As a reminder, with the support of the Turkish Football Federation and agreement with UEFA, the matches will take place in Antalya at the "Maradana" stadium, which can accommodate 7,428 spectators and meets all UEFA criteria.

The match Ukraine vs England will be on March 3rd starting at 20:00 local time. Spain will host on March 7th. This meeting also starts at 20:00 local time.

The stadium gates will open an hour before the games start, and free tickets can be obtained directly at the entrance to the arena.

Our national team's head coach Yaia Andrushak has called up 24 players for training.

As a reminder, the FIFA Council approved that the 2027 women's World Cup in Brazil will take place from June 24 to July 25. The 29 direct qualifiers out of 32 will be distributed as follows:

  • Europe — 11;
  • Asia — 6;
  • Africa — 4;
  • CONCACAF — 4;
  • South America — 3 (Brazil qualifies automatically with this quota);
  • Oceania — 1.

The last three teams will be determined in the play-off tournament involving 10 national teams. It will consist of two stages with the following quotas:

  • Europe — 1;
  • Asia — 2;
  • Africa — 2;
  • CONCACAF — 2;
  • South America — 2;
  • Oceania — 1.

The first stage of the play-off tournament will take place in October–December 2026, and the second one in February 2027.

UEFA qualifying for the 2027 World Cup

The European qualification will take place in three stages. The group round matches will be held on March 3rd and 7th, April 14th and 18th, June 5th and 9th, 2026, in three leagues — A (16 teams), B (16) and C (21).

The starting position of each team in the leagues is determined based on the results of Nations League 2025. Ukraine will play in League A.

The top four teams from Group A will qualify directly for the 2027 World Cup.

The remaining places will be distributed in the play-off rounds in October–December 2026. In the first round, teams that finish second and third in League A will play against winners of six groups from League C and the best teams that finished there second. Eight winners advance to the next round.

The last four teams from League A and the top four winners from Group B will play against third and fourth teams from Group B respectively. Eight winners advance to the next round.

In the second round, 16 teams will meet in eight pairs. Seven best winners qualify for the World Cup, while the eighth has to participate in a continental play-off.
