In the comment section of the official UAFA website, new head coach Yana Andrushak shared updates on the national women's team:
— 24 players have been called up to the squad. They gathered in Kyiv, and we will conduct direct training in Turkish Antalya, where as nominal hosts we will play against English and Spanish teams respectively on March 3rd and 7th.

— Are all the players from the delegation that arrived in Turkey among those we wanted to call up?
— No, due to injuries, Alina Savka from Vorskla and Yuliia Khryshchuk from Old Dominion are absent.
— Considering the previous matches involving the Ukrainian women's team, when did our players perform better?
— I think we shouldn’t focus on that. Previously, the level of preparation often varied. Now, however, we have matches against top teams in world football. We will see what we are truly worth. We are preparing to give a good fight against these top squads. I hope we can approach our next match with Spain in better form, as we already have experience behind us from the NHTZ and some game practice.

— Is there enough information about our opponents?
— There’s no need to complain. The English and Spanish teams play in different styles, but what matters is that they bring desired results. Playing against them will be a valuable experience. I have the information that some of their substitutes are injured, but they have a long bench. You know, it’s not only about playing in your usual manner or maintaining intensity; it’s also about being mentally strong.
