UAFA adopted its first anti-doping program and established an anti-doping coordination committee.

6 February 2026 The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association adopted the Anti-Doping Program of UAF, and also adopted a decision on the establishment of a permanently operating anti-doping coordination committee.

The program was approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and National Anti-Doping Center, which ensures its compliance with national legislation and international standards.

Adoption of the anti-doping program is aimed at ensuring the implementation of UAF’s statutory goals regarding the protection of clean sport, compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping Activities in Sport," as well as fulfilling international obligations before FIFA and UEFA. The document defines a range of measures with prevention, control, and response to possible violations of anti-doping rules in the football environment of Ukraine.

Within the implementation of the program, an anti-doping coordination committee has been established. The head of the committee was appointed Anastasia Bilenko – a manager of the department investigating misconduct by participants. Also included are Vitaliy Kiliyan – chief of the medical support department for national teams; Yuriy Humenyk – lawyer from the legal department of the financial directorate (deputy head); Olena Shevchuk – sports doctor in the medical support department for national teams (secretary of the committee); Oxana Zalizko – head of the Disciplinary and Regulatory Work Department of UAF.

UAF calls on clubs participating in competitions under the association’s aegis to ensure that medical personnel, coaching staffs, and players are familiar with the provisions of the anti-doping program.
