Head coach of Ukraine's women's national team (WU-17), Lyudmila Lemesko, commented on the official website of the UAF about her goals for her players:

— Only a quick return to the elite division. The matches in our group will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and, in my view, the hosts will be our main competitors.

Incidentally, in this Balkan country, great attention has recently been paid to developing women's football, and it is no coincidence that Bosnia and Herzegovina will host next year’s final stage of the Euro among young women's national teams (WU-19). But for Ukrainians, this will only serve as an additional motivation for maximum commitment.

I plan to invite three or four leaders from Ukraine's national team (WU-15) to intensify competition. I am not worried about potential issues with playing time. However, I hope that my players at the club level will participate in a few friendly matches in February. Of course, these are not official games, but we have what we have. And we will practice our combinations during the short preparation period just before leaving for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
