Euro 2026 (U17): Ukraine's women's national team has learned the names of their opponents in the second qualifying round of Group L

Today, on December 11, the draw for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Euro 2026 Women's Under-17 Championship took place, in which Ukraine's national team (players born in 2009 or later) participated.

Tuesday, December 11 saw the draw for the second qualifying round of Euro 2026 for girls under 17, in which Ukraine's team (players born no later than 2009) participated.

Based on their performance in the first qualification round, the players coached by Lyudmila Lemesko secured last place in their Group A League and were relegated to League B, losing their chance to play at Euro 2026 (WU-17). Before the draw for the second round, blue-and-yellow were placed in the first pot of the lower division.

As a result of the draw, Ukrainians ended up in Group B5, where their opponents are teams from Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group A2: England, Italy, Croatia, Turkey.

Group A3: Finland, Czech Republic, Romania, Latvia.

Group A6: Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Kosovo.

Group A7: Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Wales.

League B

Group B1: Belarus, Lithuania, Malta, Estonia. 

Group B2: North Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Luxembourg, Georgia.

Group B3: Belgium, Slovenia, Faroe Islands, Azerbaijan.

Group B4: Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Moldova. 

Group B5: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group B6: Andorra, Israel, Albania.

The top six winners and the best second-placed team in each group of League B will advance to League A.

It is worth noting that the final stage of Euro 2026 (WU-17) will take place from April 4 to May 17, 2026 in Northern Ireland. This tournament will also serve as qualification for the U-17 World Cup (WU-17) in Morocco.
