The Ukrainian Football Association, together with the Lviv Football Association, held a one-day seminar at the Salesian Center "Bosco," dedicated to the latest methodology of Manchester City Academy. Over fifty coaches who work with children up to 13 years old from various regions of the oblast participated in the event.

The seminar program included a theoretical block in an auditorium and practical training on a football field. The format of live communication allowed coaches to receive answers to current questions, discuss methodological approaches, and exchange practical experience.

Speakers included the head of the football development department at UFA, Bohdan Hordyniuk, the head of the children's and youth football department at UFA, Maxim Syrota, as well as coaches from the UFA Football Development Center Taras Chopilko, Yevheniy Korosten, and Serhiy Chebotarev.

As Bohdan Hordyniuk emphasized, a key component of the new methodology is the profile of the coach, which presupposes high professional competencies, responsible attitude towards working with children, effective communication with parents, and creating a conducive environment for young football players to develop.

«The main focus of the methodology is the progress of players. Not a result in the form of victory at any cost, but their growth, motivation, and satisfaction from the training process. It's important for coaches to support children, create a positive atmosphere, and facilitate development. We aim to provide our professionals with modern tools and connect them to international experience», — Bohdan Hordyniuk stressed.
