The main coaches of potential rivals to Ukraine's team in Group F of the 2026 World Cup finals have expressed their thoughts on the draw held in Washington.

As a reminder, according to the results of the draw, possible opponents for Serhiy Rebrov’s team will be the Netherlands, Japan, and Tunisia. The words of the coaches from the Netherlands and Japan are quoted on FIFA's official website.

Ronald Koeman (head coach of the Netherlands): "The draw is always interesting. All participants in our group are at a high level and can create good competition. Our first match against Japan will be tough because the Japanese are always in great form and have an excellent team. Then we face Tunisia, and then we'll have to wait for the third team, which could be Sweden, Ukraine, Poland, or Albania. In any case, we're all eagerly looking forward to the big tournament."

Hajime Moriyasu (head coach of Japan): "Each team in our group is strong, and the one that makes it through the knockout stage will also be a tough opponent. So I expect this to be a difficult competition. Nevertheless, I'm eagerly looking forward to every match. One of our strengths is good organization, and I think it has improved significantly."

As a reminder, matches of the 23rd World Cup will take place in 16 cities. These are Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey in Mexico, and Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle in the USA.

The opening match of the World Cup will take place on June 11, 2026, in Mexico City, while the final will be held in New York on July 19.
