On November 30, at the Kyiv National Training Center named after Viktor Bannikov with support from the Ukrainian Football Association, a match for the "Prometheus" Cup among athletes with Osteogenesis Imperfecta took place. The teams of Kyiv city and region and Cherkasy region participated.

The game was held on the eve of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is traditionally organized by CMFSKI "Prometheus".

In a fierce battle, the team from Cherkasy celebrated victory, defeating their opponents 7-4.

I wish the next games will be even more successful, and we hold such sporting events more often at a higher level. This is important both for the development of sports and for uniting youth across Ukraine.

Honorary certificates from UAF were awarded to players Bohdan Dembik and Yaroslav Chernysh, as well as coaches Dmitro Saburov and Oleksandr Petrachenko.

We have been holding such tournaments for over 10 years. I would like to note that in this Kyiv city and region team there are players who play in "Liza Dujhikh" and national teams of Ukraine with different diagnoses.

The organization of this tournament has become an important unifying factor in the development of football programs for people with disabilities. Thanks to its stability and consistency, we manage to systematically develop relevant directions and attract new participants.

During a brief discussion, potential joint projects were outlined that could be implemented in Kyiv and have positive prospects. In this context, it is especially important that regional representatives continue to actively support the scope of work that has been developed earlier,— noted Honored Coach of Ukraine, member of the Executive Committee of UAFLI, chief referee of the tournament Dmitro Saburov.
