Students from the Kyiv youth football hub conducted a nationwide project of the Ukrainian Football Association for children.

On April 29, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian project "Open Football Festivals" of the Ukrainian Association of Football, a festival took place at Obaryvsky Stadium in the City Council Territory of Gorodetskyi.

In Kyiv, two youth leadership programs seminars for volunteers of the "Open Football Festivals" project took place.

In April-May, the Ukrainian Football Association and regional football associations will hold "Open Football Festivals" to engage children who previously did not participate in sports in mass football, as well as provide psychological support and safety knowledge to children in conditions of war.

On April 8, 2026, a sports quest took place at Kyiv University named after Boris Grinchenko within the framework of the Ukrainian Football Association project "Open Football Festivals."

Open football festivals are returning: UEFA launches a new season in Zakarpattia, involving children who have never played football.

In March, events for children continue to take place in youth football hubs of the Ukrainian regions as part of the "Open Football Festivals" project.
