In Switzerland, the annual UEFA Social and Environmental Sustainability Managers' Meeting took place, bringing together representatives of all national associations – members of the organization.

The Ukrainian Football Association was represented at the event by Olena Balbek, Director for Strategic Development and Sustainability at the UAF, CEO of the UAF Foundation, and Liliya Kovtun, Head of the Social Projects Department at the UAF.

During the meeting, participants discussed key areas of social and environmental responsibility in football, as well as familiarized themselves with UEFA's updated strategy for future initiatives. Among the main topics were protecting the environment, gender equality, fighting racism, combating various forms of addiction (including digital ones), and developing programs for children and youth.

The Ukrainian delegation presented current initiatives being implemented in Ukraine, including children's football rehabilitation camps and a social project to develop handball – "League of the Best."

Over the course of this year, the association plans to actively implement projects within the framework of UEFA's social and environmental sustainability strategy. This will happen both through engaging internal partners and by collaborating with other European national associations.
