In the first match of Euro 2026, the blue and yellow team lost to Armenia with a score of 1:2. After the game, Ukraine's head coach Oleksandr Kosenko commented on the result and the team's preparation for the next match:

"This was a very tough match. We didn't want to start with a loss. In the first half, we played without speed and movement. In the second half, we changed our approach — that helped, but it wasn't enough for the desired result."

"Now we need to prepare for the match against Lithuania. We hope to play better than on previous tournaments,"

— the coach added.

It is worth noting that two teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs, so the match against the Lithuanians will be crucial for Oleksandr Kosenko's team.

The Lithuania national team is ranked 35th in UEFA and makes its debut at Euro as one of the host nations. In their first match, they drew 3:3 against the Czech Republic.

The match will take place in Kaunas at the «Žalgiris Arena» starting at 17:00 Kyiv time. The live stream of the game will be provided by MEGOGO platform.
