Today in Vrgnica, the wards of Oleksander Kosenko within the preparation for the Euro-2026 handball final tournament held a friendly match against the Slovenian national team.

This became the last test for the blue-yellow before matches in Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovenia. By agreement between the parties, the match was held in a closed format — without live streaming.

In the end, Ukraine's national team won against the Slovenians with a score of 2:0. Goals for our team were scored by Danyil Abakshyn and Vladislav Perevyeyev.
