Christmas Tournament: Six Participants and the Winning Move "Kudryvka"
On December 27 in Bucha, a traditional football tournament in memory of prominent Ukrainian football players, honored masters of sports Viktor Kolytov, Yevhen Rudakov, and Volodymyr Troshkin took place for the 26th time.

On December 27 in Bucha, a traditional, 26th edition football tournament in memory of prominent Ukrainian footballers Viktor Kolotov, Eugene Rudakov, and Vladimir Troshkin took place.
The festive tournament was traditionally organized by the Association of Ukrainian Football Veterans with the support of TOV "Agrobiznes," the Sobuzsky Family Charity Fund, and the Ukrainian Football Association. We thank the unbreakable and powerful Armed Forces of Ukraine and all forces of security and defense that allow us to play football!

For the fourth consecutive year, the tournament was held in Bucha, an unbroken and undefeated city-hero that survived the horrors of occupation but stood firm. This year, six veteran teams from different regions of Ukraine were invited to participate: "Veres" (Rivne), "Kudrivka," SC "Sofia," "Dynamo Family," "Machuhyi" (Poltava), and a Ukrainian Military League team.

At the award ceremony, the winners and prize-winners were honored by the first vice-president of AVFU, the best Soviet footballer of 1966, Andriy Biba, and the legendary player of Dynamo, the Honored Master of Sports Oleksandr Zavarov. Due to line duty, the officer from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President of AVFU Oleg Sobuzsky, was absent. On his behalf, greetings and wishes for the quickest end to the war and victory in Ukraine were conveyed to all teams, fans, and honored guests.
It is worth noting that participation in the tournament was free of charge, and all organizational expenses were covered by partners — TOV "Agrobiznes" and the Sobuzsky Family Charity Fund.

Best player of the tournament — Andriy Bursuk ("Kudrivka").
Prize from the Sobuzsky Family Charity Fund "For Loyalty to Football" — Colonel Serhiy Klyvlin, founder and organizer of the Ukrainian Military League team.
Eugene Rudakov Prize for Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament — Eugene Prokopets (Ukrainian Military League).
Vladimir Troshkin "Iron Defender" Award — Ivan Starostyuk ("Sofia").
Victor Kolotov "True Captain" Award — Orest Chernetskyi ("Veres").
"Fans' Favorite" Prize from TOV "Agrobiznes" — Oleksandr Korniychuk ("Kudrivka").

Historical Note
In January 2000, the famous footballer Viktor Kolotov passed away. In December of that same year, with the efforts of AVFU, a football tournament in memory of half-back Dynamo and USSR national team was organized and held. In 2011, goalkeeper of Dynamo and USSR national team Eugene Rudakov passed away, and in 2020, another Dynamo and USSR national team player, ex-president of AVFU Vladimir Troshkin, also passed away. Since 2020, the tournament has been dedicated to the memory of three legends of Ukrainian football — Honored Masters of Sports Viktor Kolotov, Eugene Rudakov, and Vladimir Troshkin.
