In the framework of the second assembly within the project «Challenge to Dream» of the Ukrainian Football Association, which is implemented with the support of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, an event «Mindset Champion» was held in the village of Happy, on Kyivska land.

The participants of the event were candidates for the Ukrainian girls' national team WU-15, who had a unique opportunity to join an innovative mental program aimed at the all-round development of young female footballers – not only as players but also as individuals and future leaders.

The central theme of the program was working with emotions. The participants learned to recognize their emotional states during matches and training, control them, and use them as a resource for making effective decisions on the field.

To practically apply their knowledge, young players received a «Daily Journal of a Female Footballer», which helps them analyze their state, track progress, and find individual tools for self-regulation.

The «Mindset Champion» project is implemented in Ukraine within the Strategy for the Development of Women's and Girls' Football and is a result of cooperation between the Committee on Women's and Girls' Football, the UAFA Foundation, and the NGO «Path to Champion». Its main goal is to form a strong mental foundation and improve team interaction in women's and girls' teams aged 12 to 18.

«Mindset Champion» is a way of thinking that directly influences a player's decisions, emotional state, and actions both on the field and in everyday life.

Since March 2025, over 600 female players from all regions of Ukraine have participated in the «Mindset Champion» project, which testifies to its relevance, scale, and strategic importance for the future of women's football.
