Tuesday, December 10 saw the draw for the second qualifying round of Euro-2026 among under-17 boys, in which Ukraine's national team participated (players born no later than 2009).

The team coached by Oleksandr Sitnik, who secured third place in their Group A of the first round and will now play in League B, entered the draw for the second qualifying round as part of the first pot. As a result, by the draw's decision, the blue-and-yellow team ended up in Group B6, where their opponents are Latvia and Albania.

In the second round, 28 teams (14 group winners from the first round and 14 teams that secured second place) will compete in seven groups of League A until March 31. The winners of these quartets join hosts Estonia for the final stage, which will take place from May 25 to June 7, 2026. The draw for this tournament is scheduled for April 9.

In turn, 26 teams will compete in seven groups of League B (five with four teams each and two with three) until June 30.

Both tournaments are important in the context of forming Leagues A and B for the first qualifying round of Euro-2028 (U-19).
