The Ukrainian team played their third match in the group stage of the TUI Socca World Championship 2025 in Cancún, Mexico.

In Group G, our team faced Spain and won with a score of 6-1. The blue-and-yellow team won all three matches in the group and advanced to the knockout stage from first place.

The opponent of our team will be determined in the match Honduras vs. Brazil, which takes place today. The round-of-16 game of the tournament will take place on December 5.

We remind you that 32 national teams are participating in the competition. Teams finishing first and second in their groups advance to the knockout stage.

What is socca?

Socca (English. Socca) — a team sport played with a ball, a variant of football in the format of 6x6.

Unlike mini-football, socca has a larger field size (30x50 m) and a different number of players. A match consists of two halves of 25 minutes each, with teams consisting of one goalkeeper and five outfield players.

Matches are played on both natural and synthetic turf. The goal dimensions — 2x5 m.
