Today, on November 27, Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' played their fourth group stage match of the Conference League against Irish 'Shamrock Rovers.' 

In the first round, Arda Turan's team won away from home against Scottish Aberdeen (3:2), in the second they lost to Warsaw Legia in Krakow (1:2), and in the third they defeated Icelandic Breiðablik (2:0).

In the first half of today's match in Dublin, Arda Turan's team had clear initiative but managed to convert their advantage into a goal only once. On the 23rd minute, Vinícius played a wall pass with Dmitro Kryskiv in the Irish penalty area, after which he crossed it to the center where Kaue Elias finished off the combination with a shot.

The second half started with counter-attacks but gradually Donetsk regained dominance and doubled their lead on the 77th minute: Yegor Nazarina scored from the penalty spot, assisted by a ricochet off the wall. Three minutes later the ball found its way into the hosts' net again, however, the referee called it offside.

Towards the end of the match, Irish players managed to score one goal: Conor Mellí from an acute angle outmaneuvered our goalkeeper. Thus, 2:1 — victory for 'Shakhtar.'
