On the Champions League path, in a nominally home match against Polish Stalowa Wola, Dynamo Kiev overcame Scottish Hibernian.

In the first half, Igor Kostyuk's charges had more possession and initiative, but Hibernian created more dangerous moments and could have scored at least twice. However, Kyiv’s goalkeeper Viacheslav Surkis made two fantastic saves to keep them out.

After the break, on the 56th minute, the white-and-blues did not waste their chance. Vladyslav Zaharchenko received a pass from the flank and with a billiard shot off the post put Dynamo ahead. The score remained unchanged until full time.

So, 1-0 — victory for Kyiv’s Dynamo. The return match will take place on December 10 in Scotland.
