President of France Emmanuel Macron, the leadership of the French Football Federation, government representatives, and other distinguished guests were present at the event.

On behalf of the Ukrainian people, I want to express sincere support for the people of France. We, Ukrainians, understand your pain, as we experience terrorist attacks from Russia every day—rockets, drones, death, and destruction... We know what it is like to lose innocent lives and feel fear for our loved ones.

At times like these, unity against the forces of evil is most important. Only together can we stand up to those who sow terror, hatred, and death, and protect the values that unite us—life, freedom, and democracy,” — emphasized Andriy Shevchenko.

We remind you that on November 13, 2015, a series of terrorist attacks took place in Paris, resulting in the deaths of 131 people and injuries to over 400. One of the epicenters of these attacks was the Stade de France stadium in Saint-Denis, where a football match between France and Germany was taking place.
