The 10th round of the Ukrainian Premier League season-2025/2026 has concluded. In half of the matches (four out of eight), spectators witnessed four goals being scored. "Polesia," "Shakhtar," and "Dynamo" secured victories with identical scores — 4:0. Meanwhile, in two encounters — in Rivne and Lviv derby — teams failed to register any goal-scoring actions.

Goalkeepers were the focus of attention. For instance, goalkeeper Oleksiy Palamarchuk from LNZ scored an assist for Prosper — this was the only goal in their away match against "Metalist 1925" and helped the Chernihiv team climb to third place. In the Shakhtar-Kudryvka game, goalkeeper Dmitro Riznyk saved a penalty kick by Dmytro Korkishko and kept a clean sheet.

After 10 rounds, Shakhtar leads the championship race with 21 points — one point more than Dynamo and LNZ.

In the top-scorers' race, four players — Mykola Hayduchik, Prosper, Pilyp Budkivskyi, and Gleyker Mendoza — each have five goals and share first place.

Players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for the October matches of Ukraine's under-21 team against Iceland (5:3) and Azerbaijan (2:1) participated in this round: Volodymyr Brazyko and Oleksandr Timchik from Dynamo, Dmitro Riznyk, Valeriy Bondar, Oleg Ocheretynko, Artem Bondarenko, Mykola Matviienko from Shakhtar, Ivan Kalyuzhnyi from Metalist 1925, Bohdan Mikhaylichenko, Vladyslav Velitnenko and Oleksandr Nazarenko from Polesia.

The next, 11th round of the UPL, which will feature a Ukrainian classic showdown between Shakhtar and Dynamo, starts on Friday, October 31 and lasts for four days.
