Open Football Festivals took place in Ternopil Oblast

On October 21, at the Borschiv Agricultural Technical Vocational College sports complex, "Open Football Festivals" were held, organized with the support of the Ukrainian Football Association, the Ternopil Region Football Association, and the Borschiv City Council.

On October 21 at the Borschiv Agricultural Technical Vocational College sports complex, "Open Football Festivals" were held, organized with the support of the Ukrainian Football Association, the Ternopil Football Association, and the Borschiv City Council.

At the ceremonial opening, Mayor Igor Chopik and Deputy Head of the Ternopil Football Association Dmitry Andriyeshin addressed the festival participants, welcoming the schoolchildren and wishing them success and new sporting achievements.

Participants in the festival included students from Borschiv NoVU "ZNZ I-III st. №3 - R. Andriyeshin Gymnasium", Borschiv ZNO Shk I-III st. №1, Borschiv ZNO Shk I-III st. №2, Krivchen ZNO Shk I-III st., Ozerian ZNO Shk I-III st., and Strilovecky NoVU "ZNZ I-III st. - DNZ".

At the "Open Football Festivals," six interactive locations were in operation. The event gave children the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain new knowledge, and experience true team spirit.

At the end of the event, each child received a participant diploma signed by UAF President Andriy Shevchenko as a symbol of support and encouragement for engaging in sports.

A sincere thank you to the teachers of educational institutions for organizing interesting stations, active participation and creative preparation of teams, as well as everyone involved in organizing this bright sporting event. The "Open Football Festivals" project by the Ukrainian Football Association is:

  • youth leadership in communities;
  • psychosocial support for children of ZSU servicemen, children of IDPs, and war-affected children;
  • unity and friendship between children of IDPs and local children, social integration;
  • inclusive environment where everyone participates, including children with special educational needs;
  • knowledge about safety in wartime conditions;
  • philosophy of mass football - joy from the game instead of any price for results;
  • cultivation of a healthy lifestyle;
  • volunteer development;
  • activation of local communities through cross-sectoral networks (youth leaders, teachers, coaches, psychologists, security experts, parents, local authorities, patrons, etc.).
