President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko visited the French Embassy in Ukraine, where he held a meeting with the ambassador of that country, Hugues Verrier.

From the Ukrainian side, those participating in the meeting also included First Vice President of UAF Artem Stoyanov, General Secretary of UAF Igor Gryshchenko, and CEO of the UAF Foundation Olena Balbek. On behalf of the embassy, present were directly the head of the diplomatic mission Hugues Verrier, as well as counselor for cultural and political affairs Vincent Guyard.

The sides discussed deepening sports cooperation between Ukraine and France, as well as implementing joint social initiatives, including support for the UAF amputee football project "League of Greats."

We remind you that the Ukrainian Football Association and the French Football Federation signed a cooperation agreement in 2024, covering a range of areas.
