Main coach of the Ukraine national team, Serhiy Rebrov, has called up defender Vladyslav Velentiy from Zhytomyr Polissya for the upcoming matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow). This is the player's debut call-up to the national team.

The national team's training camp will begin on October 6 in Poland. Return to Poland is scheduled for October 11.

On October 12 in Krakow, there will be traditional pre-match events before the match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. At 17:30 local time, a press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players will begin, followed by training for the Ukrainian team at 18:00.
