Today, October 4, the Ukraine youth team will play their second match of the first qualifying round for the 2026 European Championship (U-17) against Estonia.

Our team drew with North Macedonia in the first round (1:1), while Estonia lost heavily to Italy (1:8). We remind you that to advance to League A for the second round, a team must finish first or second in their group.

The match against Estonia will start at 15:30 local time in Rakvere. Live broadcast — on the YouTube channel of the UAF.

54 teams were divided into 12 groups of four participants and two groups of three participants. The host of the final stage, Estonia's national team, will also participate in the qualification.

Based on the results of the first round of qualification, 14 group winners and 14 teams finishing second advance to the second round in League A. The remaining 26 teams will compete in the second round in League B.

Teams advancing to the second round of qualification in League A will compete for seven spots at the final stage of Euro 2026 (U-17) in spring 2026. Estonia, as the host nation, has an automatic berth. It is worth noting that this qualifying round in League A also serves as a qualifier for the CS-2026 (U-17) tournament in Qatar.

Moreover, teams from both leagues of the second qualification round will compete to move up and down between leagues before the first round of Euro 2028 (U-19) qualification.
