Today, October 2nd, Kyiv's "Dynamo" started in the main stage of the Conference League with a match against English "Crystal Palace."

In the middle of the first half, while battling for the ball in their own penalty area, central defender Taras Mykhalko of Kyiv sustained an injury. While he was being attended to and the coaches prepared for a substitution, Kyiv were left short-handed, which the opponents took advantage of. Piño delivered a diagonal cross into the far corner of the goalmouth where Munyez outmaneuvered Dubynchak and accurately scored in the far post.

After halftime, the visitors doubled their lead. In the 58th minute, Piño dribbled past Brazyka on the left flank and slid a pass into the penalty area where the fresh Nketiah outpaced defenders and steered the ball into the net.

Towards the end of the match, "Dynamo" tried to narrow the gap. In the 76th minute, after receiving his second yellow card, Sosa was sent off. However, Kyiv were unable to capitalize on their numerical advantage. The final score — 0:2 in favor of "Crystal Palace."

Kyiv's next Conference League match will be against Turkish "Samsunspor" on October 23rd.
