We remind you that the team's first match, against Moldova, saw Igor Moskvin's wards win with a score of 7:0. Despite the successful result, the coach of the blue and yellow believes there is still room for improvement, reports the AFA.

"We scored three quick goals, but after that I was not satisfied with our play, tactical and individual decisions by our players. We made several pointless mistakes and received a few unnecessary cards. Although the score on the board is 7:0, and I am grateful to both of our goalkeepers who played fantastically and kept their clean sheets. We will think about our mistakes and analyze the game," — said Igor Moskvin.

Today, Ukraine's U-19 team will face a tougher opponent — Portugal, which in its first match at the tournament crushed Italy (7:1). The match can be watched on MEGOGO with subscriptions "Max" and "Sport". Kick-off is at 8:30 PM.

The inaugural European Championship for indoor football among juniors took place in 2019 in Rijeka, the second edition was held in 2022 in Hain (originally planned for 2021 but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and the third — in 2023 in Poreč. The champions have been teams from Spain (20192022) and Portugal (2023).

The Ukrainian team participated in all three final tournaments. In 2019, Vitaliy Odegov's wards placed third in the group stage, and in 2022 they were eliminated in the semifinals. In 2023, Igor Moskvin's team also reached the semifinal stage.
