Today, February 16, the Ukrainian youth team U-17 within the framework of an international tournament in Croatian Poreč will play their final match — against the hosts.

The blue and yellow team started with a confident victory over Greece (3:1), but lost to Israel in the second game (0:5). The Croatian team won both matches and leads the tournament table before the decisive match.

Recall that this tournament in Poreč is part of Ukraine's preparation for the second round of Euro-2026 qualification (U-17).

The match between the Ukrainian and Croatian youth teams will begin at 11:00 AM Kyiv time. The live stream — on the UEFA YouTube channel.

In the second round, 28 teams (14 winners of Group Stage 1 and 14 that occupy the second place) will compete in seven groups of League A from March 30 to June 30. The qualifiers' winners join the host Estonia for the final stage, which runs from May 25 to June 7, 2026. The draw is scheduled for April 9.

Meanwhile, 26 teams will compete in seven groups of League B (five — four teams, two — three) until June 30, 2026.

Both tournaments are important in the context of forming Leagues A and B for Group Stage 1 of Euro-2028 qualification (U-19).
