"The third year of referee training at the Academy of Football Referees of the UAF took place in 2025 and included four educational seminars — in March, June, October, and December. Within these events, significant attention was paid to deep theoretical preparation as well as testing for physical and theoretical readiness. A particular important element of the program was language testing in English."

The third year training program focuses on topics that are most relevant for contemporary referees preparing to work at the all-Ukrainian competition level. The majority of participants who successfully passed all types of tests and have the necessary practical experience can be recommended for officiating matches in the National League U-19 of the PFL.

Thus, graduates of the academy move from amateur level to refereeing all-Ukrainian competitions. Based on continuous analysis and internal rankings, these referees are considered a group of promising young professionals who may be called upon for national-level matches," — noted Yuri Mosiychuk, member of the Referees Committee of the UAF and coordinator of this area of work with young referees.
