Today, Kyiv clubs HIT and Kyiv Futsal started in the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League season 2025/2026.
By the draw, both Ukrainian teams ended up in Group 8 of Path B along with Slovenian "Vrhnika" and North Macedonian "Forteca". The mini-tournament in our quartet is taking place in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Today, HIT faced Forteca in the first round match, while Kyiv Futsal — with Vrhnika.
First on the court of arena "Kodeljevo" were HIT and Forteca. The Ukrainians did not leave their opponent any chance for victory, scoring five goals in each half — 10:2. The hero of the match was Oleksandr Pedias, who completed a hat-trick. Doubles were scored by Andriy Melnyk and Yevheniy Zhuk.

Then on the arena "Kodeljevo" met Kyiv Futsal and Vrhnika. Here the confrontation turned out to be much more intense. The match was played with a slight advantage for the Kyivans, and on the 15th minute Mykola Grytsyna opened the score.
After halftime, the Slovenians managed to even things up — Tode Cihuka scored at the 24th minute mark, and Benjamin Toussard put our opponents ahead at the 35th. However, literally within 50 seconds Kajke equalized in the match.
Thus, a draw — 2:2.
