We remind you that "Kolos" became the first Ukrainian club to qualify for the newly formed UEFA Europa Cup. The opponent in the first qualifying round was Albania's "Vlaznia." The first match ended with a victory for the Albanian team with a score of 2:0.

The return match, as agreed by both sides, also took place in Albania. Despite an even battle in the first half that ended without goals, after halftime "Vlaznia" scored twice against Kolos and secured another victory — 2:0. The Albanian team advanced to the next round, while for Kolos, their European campaign came to an end.
