Youth football hubs in regions in April
Young leaders of the "Open Football Festivals" project continue to implement their creative ideas in April, bringing events for children to youth football hubs in regions across Ukraine.
Youth leaders of the "Open Football Festivals" project continue to implement their creative ideas in April, turning them into events for children at youth football hubs in regions across Ukraine.
The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association and regional football associations with the support of the Intercultural Projects Association and CISU ("Civil Society in Development") from Denmark within the donor program "Recovery and Resilience through Youth Leadership in Ukraine."
So far, 9,000 children who did not previously engage in sports have been involved in mass football events. An additional 3,000 children are planned to be included in spring football festivals. Children affected by the war receive joy and satisfaction from their favorite game at youth hubs, but also necessary psychological support and current safety knowledge.
Throughout April, activities take place at the hubs:
