Today, February 19, the Ukrainian U-18 youth team (players born in 2008) within the training camp in Rome will play their second friendly match against the host — Italy's U-18 national team.

The first encounter was impressive and goal-laden. The blue-and-yellow shirts took the lead twice, but on the third added minute of stoppage time in extra time, the Italians scored a penalty to draw the match 2:2.

Before today's game, the youth team's squad was visited by Roma and Ukraine national team forward Artem Dovbik. The striker addressed the young players:

"Time flies very quickly, so enjoy this period. Now is the best moment to showcase Ukraine on an international stage. I am confident that everything will work out for you, and soon we will see each other in the national team."

The training camp in Italy is part of preparation for the first round of Euro-2027 (U-19) qualification, where Ukraine's opponents will be Czech Republic, Finland, and Estonia.

The match between Ukraine's and Italy's U-18 teams will take place at the Riano Athletic Center stadium, owned by Roma City club, starting at 12:00 Kyiv time. Live stream — on the UEFA YouTube channel.
