Tournaments that will run until February 16 are part of the preparation for the second round of qualification for Euro-2026 (U-17). Apart from the Greeks, Ukraine's yellow and blue team will face the teams of Israel and Croatia.

The head coach of the Ukrainian team, Oleksandr Sytnyk, spoke about his expectations from the tournament:

"There are some minor personnel issues. Someone is absent due to injuries, for example, Yaroslav Buravtsov, while someone else is away for pleasant reasons: Bohdan Lевytskyy made his first trip with the senior team of 'Ruch'. Additionally, we have requested new players who performed well at the December selection tournament. We have serious competition, so it will be interesting to see our squad not only during training sessions but also in matches against worthy opponents."

Seven players represent foreign clubs. For a long time, we have been following the striker of Polish 'Legia', Daniil Pilypchuk, who is the top scorer in the Polish league at his age, having scored 23 goals in half a season. He is already working with the U-19 team. We also have another newcomer, Vsevolod Linnik from German 'Stuttgart'. He has been part of this club's system for four years and is a vice-captain, playing almost every match without substitutions.

Our opponents are familiar to us. We only haven't played against Croatia yet, but we have already met Greece and Israel. So, their squads will likely be different, but the way these teams play is known to us. I expect interesting matches."

The match between Ukraine's youth team and Greece will take place in Croatian Poreč and will start at 16:00 Kyiv time. The live stream will be available on the UAFA YouTube channel.
