The Ukrainian U-16 national team (players born in 2010) secured first place on an international friendly tournament held in Antalya, Turkey.
This was determined after the final match where the hosts won a comfortable victory over the Czech Republic — 2:1. Previously, it should be noted that the blues and yellows defeated the Czechs with a score of 3:1, followed by a draw against Turkey — 1:1. Thus, based on additional criteria, namely the best goal difference, the winners of the tournament were indeed the wards of Volodymyr Samборського.
Our team's friendly match scheduled for January 31 will not take place.

It should be added that the Ukrainian U-16 national team is preparing for Euro 2027 (U-17) qualification. In the first round, the blues and yellows are in group 9 with opponents from Montenegro, Poland, and England. It is already known that the tournament in our group will be hosted by England from November 11 to 17.
