A seminar on certification took place for candidates participating in the women's higher league club competitions season 2026/2027

21 January in the Football Building a seminar-meeting was held on current issues of football club accreditation during the process of obtaining permission for women's high league club competitions in the 2026/2027 season.

The event was attended by official representatives from all clubs that expressed their readiness to go through the accreditation procedure and confirmed their intentions to comply with regulatory norms, directives or decisions of the Ukrainian Football Association within the framework of the accreditation system.

Victor Bezsmertnyi, head of the Club Accreditation Committee of the UAF, started the meeting with a welcome speech and highlighted key focuses for further development of the club accreditation system – participants in all-Ukrainian competitions among women's football teams, as well as prospects that can only be achieved through fruitful cooperation with clubs. Yevheniya Yershova, deputy head of the committee, focused the audience’s attention on the importance of each applicant complying with procedural issues that are fundamental for proper application of the accreditation system and processes recognized by regulatory bodies. Sergey Yelshov, head of the Club Accreditation and Licensing Department at the UAF, elaborated on the requirements and general provisions of the 2025 edition of the UAF Regulations on Football Club Accreditation in the High League among Women, drawing the listeners' attention to the application of exceptional and transitional provisions concerning club accreditation requirements.

The program also included the disclosure of such issues as:

— compliance by applicants for an accreditation with infrastructure criteria for hosting club competitions under the auspices of the UAF. The categorization of stadiums according to the UAF classification for women's high league competitions in the 2026/2027 season (speaker – Y. Nestruga);

— current requirements from sporting criteria and the club’s obligations regarding the development of girls' football (speaker – S. Novikov);

— general characteristics of financial criteria (speaker – O. Babak).

All seminar participants actively discussed compliance with regulatory norms and the correctness of document preparation according to accreditation criteria.

Confident that this event will contribute to further development of women's football, taking into account unforeseen events in the legal regime of martial law conditions in Ukraine, which are beyond the control of applicants for an accreditation.
