At the Capital Football Building, an annual event dedicated to training doctors and physical therapists from football clubs was held.

The training included an intensive course in providing immediate medical assistance directly on the football field according to the UEFA Medical Education curriculum. Participants worked through algorithms for critical situations, including loss of consciousness, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, head, spinal, and lower extremity injuries, which are the most dangerous in football practice.

A separate block was dedicated to lectures on the most common injuries in football, their prevention, early diagnosis, and modern approaches to treatment. Lecturers shared clinical experience in managing injuries, chronic issues, as well as specifics of returning players to training after injuries.

Also, organizational issues of medical support for football matches and doping control were discussed.

Special attention was given to modern physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods. Practical interest was sparked during sessions on taping techniques, where participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern techniques.

The event became an important platform for acquiring practical skills and enhancing the qualifications of medical staffs of football clubs, exchanging experiences, and implementing modern European standards of medical support in Ukrainian football.
