Head coach of Ukraine's women's youth national team, Oleg Bortnyk, shared his impressions from the draw on the official website of the Ukrainian Football Association:

"The matches in our group will be held in Sweden in March. Of course, the hosts will aim to secure first place. As for the Dutch team, they are undoubtedly the strongest in Europe in this age group. The Italians also add strength.

That said, I believe that my wards will compete with the Italians for third place, which would allow them to remain in the elite division.

The Ukrainian team will play in Sweden almost in the same lineup as recently did in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unfortunately, those girls who could not help due to injuries have not recovered by March.

Since February will see several rounds of Ukraine's championship, my wards will get playing practice. And before traveling to Scandinavia, we will fine-tune our home preparations at a short-term camp. The main thing is that there are no injuries among the key players.
