Today, on December 11, the draw for the second qualifying round of the 2026 Women's Under-19 European Championship (for players born in 2007 or later) took place, and the Ukraine national team participated.

Tuesday, December 11 saw the draw for the second round of qualification for Euro-2026 (WU-19), in which Ukraine's team (players born no later than 2007) participated.

Coach Oleg Bortnik’s wards secured second place in their group for the first round of selection and will play in League A as the best second-placed team from League B. Before the draw for the second round, blue-and-yellow ended up in the fourth pot.

In summary, by the luck of the draw, Ukrainians found themselves in Group A5, where their opponents are teams from Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Group V4: Belarus, Luxembourg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia.

Group V5: Turkey, Montenegro, Albania, Liechtenstein.

Group V6: Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Azerbaijan. 

28 teams from League A will compete in seven groups in a mini-tournament format in one of the participating countries. They will take place during periods from February 25 to March 7 and from April 8 to April 18, 2026.

Winners of the quartets will join hosts Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final stage of Euro-2026 (WU-19), which will take place from June 27 to July 10. The draw for the tournament is scheduled for April 22.
