On December 10, the draw for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Euro 2026 for under-17s will take place, in which Ukraine's national team (players born in 2009 or later) will participate.

December 10 will see the draw for the second qualifying round of Euro-2026 among boys under 17, in which Ukraine's national team (players born no later than 2009) will participate. The ceremony starts at 13:15 Kyiv time.

As a reminder, Oleksandr Sitnik’s wards secured third place in their Group A of the first qualifying round and will now play in League B. Before the draw for the second round, blue-and-yellow qualified to Pot 1.

In the second round, 28 teams (14 group winners from the first round and 14 teams that secured second place) will compete in seven groups of League A until March 31. The winners of the quartets join the hosts, Estonia, for the final stage, which will take place from May 25 to June 7, 2026. The forum draw is scheduled for April 9.

In turn, 26 teams will compete in seven groups of League B (five with four teams each and two with three) until June 30.

Both tournaments are important in the context of forming Leagues A and B for the first qualifying round of Euro-2028 (U-19).

Procedure for the Draw of the Second Qualifying Round of Euro-2026 (U-17)

Participants are distributed into pots based on their results in the first round, according to their positions and statistics. The hosts of mini-tournaments that will take place in spring will also be determined.

Pot 2: Turkey, France, Portugal, Montenegro, Slovakia, Cyprus, Kazakhstan.

Pot 3: Austria, Scotland, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia.

Pot 4: Norway, Poland, Denmark, Romania, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, North Macedonia. 

League B

Pot 1: Netherlands, Ukraine, Wales, Finland, Bulgaria, Israel, Hungary.

Pot 2: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Belarus, Faroe Islands.

Pot 3: Albania, Moldova, Malta, Kosovo, England, Armenia, San Marino. 

Pot 4: Andorra, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar.
