The 15th round of the Ukrainian Premier League season-2025/2026 has concluded, bringing about a change in leadership. LNZ won at home against "Obolon," while "Shakhtar" dropped points in Kharkiv. Both teams finished the first half with the same number of points (32 each), but thanks to additional indicators (a direct win between them) it is now Chernihiv's club that has taken the top spot.

Zhytomyr "Polesye" lost in Lviv to local "Rukh" and is now five points behind the leaders. In the race for top scorers, three players—Yuri Klimchuk ("Kolos"), Pilyp Budkivskyi ("Zorya") and Prosper (LNZ)—each have seven goals.

Players called up by Serhiy Rebrov to the Ukraine national team for the UEFA U21 Championship 2026 qualifiers against France (0:4) and Iceland (2:0) participated in this round: from "Dynamo"—Oleksandr Karavaev (assisted), Nazar Voloshyn, Mykhailo Shaparenko (substituted on 77th minute) and Taras Mikhavko (substituted on 88th minute); from "Shakhtar"—Dmytro Ryzhnik, Valeriy Bondar, Mykola Matviyenko and Oleksandr Ocheretnyk (replaced at half-time), from "Polesye"—Yevhenii Volynets, Bohdan Mikhailychenko and Oleksii Hutsulyak.

The next 16th round of the UPL will start on Friday, December 12 and last for three days.
