One of the two UEFA Playmakers centers in Ivano-Frankivsk is located in Horodenka. The project activities of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Football Association take place at Horodenka Lyceum No. 1 and Chernyatynsky Lyceum. They are conducted by project coaches Vasyl Shevchuk, Mykhailo Krivko, and Liudmila Honcharenko.

Vasyl Shevchuk notes: "We successfully completed a cycle of UEFA Playmakers project sessions, which aimed to introduce girls to the basics of football in an interesting and playful format. Thanks to UEFA Playmakers, the girls fell in love with football, improved their physical and psychological qualities, and had fun as part of a team of friends."

The mother of a participant, Marina, says: "It's very pleasant for me as a mother to watch my youngest daughter Solomiya play football. She approaches training with great enthusiasm and looks forward to it with a smile. I'm happy that she is interested in football and has a knack for it. Thank you to the coaches for interesting and useful trainings!"

"I really enjoyed playing football with my friends! We imagined ourselves as Disney heroes, ran around, passed the ball and completed fun tasks. It was fun and not scary at all. We are looking forward to more sessions!" says participant Sofiyka.

"UEFA Playmakers is a wonderful program for introducing little girls to football through play and Disney stories," concludes Vasyl Shevchuk.

Goals of the UEFA Playmakers program, which is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

• to introduce girls to football by creating an environment focused on fun, friends, and football;
• to implement a new individual coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by Disney stories and characters) as a tool for training and skill acquisition;
• to refine girls' life skills, basic movement skills, and teach them the basics of football to foster lifelong interest in the sport.
