The wards of Oleksandr Kosenko started the match cautiously but managed to open the score as early as the 6th minute. Rostyslav Semenchenko broke through from the left flank, the French goalkeeper parried it, but Igor Korsun perfectly finished off the rebound. After this, our opponents took the initiative and could have equalized three times before halftime, but each time the blue-and-yellow goalkeeper Oleksandr Sukhov was up to the task.

After the break, Ukrainians doubled their lead. A mistake by the French goalkeeper led to a situation where he had three of our players against him. The combination ended with Vladyslav Pervezhev. On the 33rd minute, only a save kept Le Ble from conceding a third goal. But just a minute later, Igor Chernyavsky did extend our team's lead after successfully executing an out pass. Only then could Stéphane Bendali manage to break the deadlock for the home side. The French were unable to score more.

So, 3:1 — victory for Ukraine.
