Today, on November 6th, the Ukraine U-16 national team (players born in 2010) conducted their second friendly match against local counterparts during a training camp in Italy.

Compared to the game that took place two days ago (2:6), head coach Volodymyr Samborskyi made five changes to the starting lineup. Galdin took over in goal, with Bymetiu and Abramovich in defense, and Rybak and Serdyukovs'kiy in midfield. In contrast, the Italian team's manager Manuel Pasquale completely refreshed his team’s starting eleven.

In the first half of the match, blue-and-yellow dominated possession and created two goal-scoring opportunities with Dzurynets'. It is worth noting that in the previous encounter, he provided two assists. Initially, Oleg threatened the hosts' goal with a shot - the ball was blocked by defenders, but later he dangerously broke through after a corner kick, only to be saved by the goalkeeper.

Midway through the match, the Italians capitalized on an out-of-bounds throw-in: our defenders failed to clear the ball from their own penalty area, resulting in a goal scored by Salvae of Juventus. The blue-and-yellow team quickly tried to respond - after Rybak's shot, the crossbar saved them. Bodak and Serdyukovs'kiy also had good chances. However, while attacking, Ukraine let in a counterattack following an interception in midfield - Rastello, another Juventus player, scored from 15 meters out into the far corner.

At the start of the second half, Rybak had a great chance to narrow the score after receiving a pass from Dzurynets', but he missed the far post. Later, Bodak shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball hit the back of the net from outside the line. Fedushko's low shot was easily caught by the goalkeeper.

Near the end of the match, high pressing from Italy led to Ukraine losing possession in their own penalty area. Our goalkeeper held off the first attempt, defenders blocked the second, but on the third try, opponents succeeded and secured the final score - 3:0.
