Since November 2, the Ukraine U-16 national team (players born in 2010) is holding a training camp in Italy. During this camp, the team will play two friendly matches against local peers.

The first match will take place today, November 4. Kickoff at 16:00 Kyiv time. Live broadcast — on the UAF YouTube channel.

"Compared to the September camp, we have nine new football players in our lineup. The selection process continues. We closely monitor those performers who are showing themselves well in their clubs. Now, some of them have joined us from abroad, although not all; three or four players suffered injuries. We have a group of players who, if they do not lower the bar for themselves, will be the backbone of this team in the future, so we could not miss the opportunity to observe them against a strong opponent.

Italian youth teams play according to one system, aggressive and vertical football. However, we do not intend to adjust our tactics to suit the opposition. We have our own plans. We need to work on defense, strategy, positional attacks. Given that there are new players, a lot of time needs to be spent on individual talks with the boys," — noted the head coach of the blue and yellow team, Volodymyr Samorukov.

The second friendly match is scheduled for November 6.
